Speaking of builds, some manufacturer-backed ones definitely caught our eyes on the show floor and online. Here is a compilation of what we think is noteworthy.
Infiniti’s GTR-Powered SUV: QX50 R-Spec
Infiniti reimagines its flagship SUV to showcase what the brand’s performance department is capable of. They squeezed in a NISMO-tuned VR38DETT GT-R engine, GT-R brakes, and a custom suspension upgrade. The twin-turbocharged powerplant is capable of putting out 1,000 HP, thanks to custom turbochargers, intercoolers, exhaust manifolds, and an upgraded fuel system.

The SUV sits on 24” wheels with 315-section tires and custom coilovers. The QX50 R-Spec features a custom body kit, and the Midnight Purple paint job pays homage to the R34 and R35 generation GT-Rs.
Mopar’s Street Warriors: The Dude Truck and SIXPACK Charger
Over at Mopar’s booth, a bright green Ram 1500 catches the eye. The concept is inspired by “The Dude” package of the 1970s, and features a Sublime Green paint job, a lowered stance with 22” wheels, and an aggressive body kit. The power comes from the 5.7-liter HEMI equipped with a Mopar cold air intake kit and side-exit exhausts. And the best part? The Dude Ram 1500 comes with a cowboy hat holder at the top of the dashboard!

The Moparized Dodge SIXPACK Charger Concept showcases the brand’s muscle. The 2026 Charger is finished in a bold Sryker Purple color with satin carbon accents, and sits on 21-inch Brass Monkey wheels. The power comes from a 550-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo SIXPACK HO engine, upgraded with a custom Mopar cold air intake kit and a Mopar dual-exit stainless steel catback exhaust.
Mopar’s booth is filled with concept vehicles, classics, and race cars, including a number of Jeep concepts, custom classics, a NASCAR truck, and NHRA drag racing machines. Additionally, a turn-key drag-race-ready package for the new Charger from Direct Connection is on display. The package utilizes SRT’s HEMI race engine, and it is being showcased as the Charger Hustle Stuff Drag Pak.
From EV Time Attack to Restored Classic: Toyota at SEMA 2025
Toyota revealed its first purpose-built BEV designed for time-attack circuits and hill climbs. The bZ Time Attack concept is built on the 2026 bZ AWD platform, which in stock form delivers 338 hp and does 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The concept adds motorsport-grade aerodynamics, suspension, and over 400 hp from electric motors tuned by Toyota R&D.

Toyota also showcased, among many other concepts and builds, the Turbo Trail Cruiser. The build is a restomod based on the FJ60 Land Cruiser heritage. It swaps in the modern i-FORCE twin-turbo 3.4 L V6 from the Tundra truck, to deliver 389 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, almost doubling the original output. The Turbo Trail Cruiser is lifted and sits on 35” off-road tires, while maintaining the classic styling and even the stock 5-speed manual gearbox.
Nissan’s Forsberg-Built Powerhouses
The NISMO GT-Z is a track-ready build from Nissan and Forsberg Racing aimed at serious competition. It’s based on the Z NISMO, fitted with NISMO performance suspension, wide Yokohama Advan tires, upgraded intake and exhaust parts from Z1 Performance and AMS, and bundled with a racing simulator at Nissan’s SEMA booth. It’s built for the GRIDLIFE GLGT series in 2026.

The 1990 Nissan Patrol by Forsberg Racing is a throwback monster. The Y60 generation truck features a turbocharged TB48 4.8-liter inline-six producing 1,000 hp. It rides on NISMO beadlock wheels with 35-inch Yokohama Geolandar tires, features off-road suspension, and vintage styling complete with a Mobil 1 livery.
Ford’s Truck Duo: 900 HP Raptor and Mustang-Powered Maverick
Ford revealed a wild new version of the F-150 Raptor R at SEMA, boasting over 900 horsepower, achieved via a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, which bumps output by over 180 horsepower beyond the standard Raptor R spec. While the extra‐power package isn’t yet a confirmed production offering, Ford says it could become a dealer‐installed Ford Performance Parts option backed by a warranty. The truck also features carbon-fiber styling, a Borla exhaust and off-road light setup, underscoring its extreme performance ambitions.

The Ford Maverick 300T is a performance upgrade package from Ford Custom Garage that is 50-state legal and backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty. The kit is built on the Maverick’s 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. It adds a larger 59 mm turbocharger straight from the Mustang’s EcoBoost, a high-performance Mishimoto intercooler, and ProCal 4 tuning to increase output to about 300 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. The suspension is lowered and upgraded with improved shocks and a stabilizer bar. Styling upgrades include 20” Mach-E GT wheels, a “300T” graphics kit, and bronze accents.
