Works as described. Easy to install and connected to the app instantly. The app is basically the pedal commander in digital form, which is nice considering where I placed mine in my car. I wanted it to be somewhat hidden and away. Definitely worth getting if you have a GR86. I'm sure it's worth it for any car that utilizes an electronic accelerator, honestly.

Pedal response for me and my 2024 GR86 seems to work best in Sport mode.
Car has noticeably improved pedal response in all gears during freeway and about town driving.

It was simple to install but extremely effective. It really works. The Bluetooth option works on an android cell flawlessly. My GR 86 is stock with the automatic transmission. It was fun but now it so much better with the pedle commander. Awesome.

I thought it was going to be a gimmick, not really do much. I was wrong! The different modes make a night and day difference on the throttle input. My shifts are smoother on all modes. In sport mode the sensitivity makes it easy to blip the throttle while downshifting. I love it.

The new GR86/BRZ platform is known to have a particularly over-sprung clutch feel, making clutching out at a stop or shifting between gears a bit numb. The problem is made worse by the poor throttle mapping from factory. The 1st inch of accelerator pedal is dead and then quickly feels like a on/off switch, making a smooth shift with throttle-on challenging. Although Pedal Commander cannot fix a mechanical clutch it does dial in the pedal feel of the accelerator and in turn makes the clutch experience much better. I still will install an aftermarket clutch spring but Pedal Commander is an impressive upgrade over factory throttle mapping. A lot of fun to play with the setting and finding the perfect balance for your specific driving traits. I really like City -4 for daily commuting and even spirited driving. Feels like what factory should have tuned the throttle map to. Highly recommend Pedal Commander.

I have a 2023 Manual Premium GR86.
Although I had to remove the accelerator assembly, ( no fault of Pedal Commander) because I couldn't disconnect the stock connector to insert the new one because of limited space. The install and setup were otherwise a breeze! The PC does just as it says. It gives more or less throttle (per setting) than you are actually applying. Thus giving more (or less) response to your accelerator inputs.
My only wish is that there was a slight bit more adjustability per setting. I run "City" minus 4. I wish there was a setting slightly less than this as it is still a bit jumpy for me on my manual.
All in all I like the product. And feel it is a good value for the money.

My Toyota GR86 had some lag in the throttle before I installed the Pedal Commander, and now it pulls hard like an E.V. when in sport mode. It's so much more fun to drive. I would highly recommend this product.

The Pedal Commander completely resolved resolved the headache of guessing second gear! That was my major complaint with the GR86, and in it was rather miserable in stop and go traffic. This took “lagging/lurching”
Issue away, and made the much more responsive like a throttle cable! Thumbs up!
